How the visit works
We review the opening, tracks, headroom, sideroom, finish, insulation, windows, hardware, and opener requirements.
Door configuration, site access, removal needs, trim details, and product timing are confirmed before work is booked.
The old system is removed as agreed, the new door is balanced and sealed, and opener travel and safety reversal are tested.
Service questions
The opening width and height are only the starting point. A proper site measure also checks headroom, sideroom, backroom, track type, floor level, framing, electrical access, and clearance for the opener and hardware.
Not always. The existing opener can sometimes remain if it is compatible, correctly sized, in good condition, and meets current safety needs. Its force, travel, controls, and photo-eye reversal should be checked with the new door.
The right insulation depends on whether the garage is attached, heated, used as a workspace, or located below living space. Door construction, perimeter sealing, glazing, and installation quality all influence comfort, not the advertised insulation value alone.
